Minami Akina or Akina Minami was born on 15 May 1989 in Kanagawa prefecture, Japan. She is Japanese Idol.

Akina had appeared in many magazines including “Sabra” (Jan 2006 issure) and “BOMB” (Feb 2006 issue). She is new in the Idol world, but gaining many fans very fast. Many believe that she may be the next “Yukorin”, a nickname of the Yuko Ogura, popular Model and Idol.
